If you join me on this marvelous day of backcountry skiing, I promise you will experience some of the best snow, terrain and landscape that Australia has to offer, as the excellent conditions enable us to ski at our own pace and also take in some of the spectacular views out over the countryside, in the captivating Bogong Creek area, Victoria.

Nestled within the Great Dividing Range in Victoria, the Bogong Creek area is renowned as one of the biggest snow-covered areas in Australia, and is very easy to access from the very popular ski resorts of Falls Creek and Hotham. The area is home to the highest peak in Victoria, Mt. Bogong, and the landscape, terrain and scenery is stunning, with sweeping views acorss the high plains a common feature.

We will meet in the morning before heading out in earnest to ski, with the backcountry areas providing fresh and pristine snow, variety in the terrain and scenery and insanely fun descents, and it has long been considered a favorite area for backcountry skiers around the region.

Along the way we will aim to teach you new skills and techniques to increase you confidence and enjoyment of backcountry skiing, and the areas we visit will incrementally increase in difficulty during the day.

We then finish in the afternoon, hopefully having made you fall in love with this truly stunning part of Australia.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
