Join IFMGA certified mountain guide Martin on a 7 day rock climbing adventure in the beautiful Basque country, where you will also get to enjoy some delicious local cuisine.
The famed Basque Country of northern Spain is a spectacular area that is well worth exploring. And over the course of 7 exciting days, you will get the chance to see a great deal of the region’s ample natural beauty. You will also get to experience some amazing rock climbing on a number of limestone walls within the Urkiola national park. Furthermore, we will also visit many of the Basque Country’s most popular destinations. Thus giving you several opportunities to taste the region’s delicious local cuisine.
Firstly, when it comes to the rock climbing, which you will be doing a great deal of throughout this trip, I can assure you that it is incredible. There are a number of fantastic climbing spots we will be visiting. Those spots include Etxauri, Egino, Atxarte, Txindoki, and many more. Due to the variety of climbing zones, there are also a number of different routes to enjoy as well, from single pitch to multi-pitch.
Secondly, because the Basque country is such an amazing, unique place, to only rock climb there would be unfortunate, despite how great the rock climbing is. However, since this trip lasts an entire week, you will get to do so much more than that. In between the rock climbing trips, you will also get the chance to visit places like Getaria, Pasajes San Juan, and San Sebastian. Each one of these places, just like the different climbing zones, will provide you with a wonderful experience that can only be found in the beautiful Basque country.
If you would like to spend 7 days exploring an amazing place, while also enjoying some thrilling rock climbing, then the Basque country is for you. To join me, all you have to do is send me a request.

Martin was incredible! From the pre trip preparations to managing all logistics while there - he made sure I had everything I needed, taught me alot, and importantly kept me safe! He truly provided a first class adventure.
We enjoyed this trip in the Alps very much!! It was an excellent introduction to mountaineering and the stunning peaks of the Alps massive. Our guide Martin made the full experience a succes; pushing us to the limits, keeping us safe at difficult rocky ascents, but also taking time to enjoy the scenery and the climb. Thanks a lot for the beautiful pictures too!
This was a great 4-day hut-to-hut ski experience in the Pyrenees. The national park of Aiguestortes is beautiful and we had a lot of snow. Martin is a professional and social guide. He makes sure that the trip takes place from a pleasant and secure way. Due to the weather conditions we couldn\'t do the climb to the Montardo and to the Ratera, but Martin organized some alternatives to enjoy the 4 days. We were an international group and could communicate with Martin in English.
Impresionante Martin....te hace alcanzar lo inalcanzable, con una sensación de seguridad increible. Un gran profesional
