Are you from, or are planning to visit New York City? Would you like to enjoy a mini-vacation in the natural areas just a short drive from the sprawling metropolis? Then come and join us on this half-day hiking tour at Bear Mountain, on the Hudson River.

Just 45 miles upriver from New York City, Bear Mountain, while not a giant mountain, is nonetheless a stunning peak. And on this hiking trip, you will get to enjoy walking around the peak, while soaking in the peaceful and beautiful scenery of the Hudson Highlands.

Located in the Bear Mountain-Harriman State Park, the hiking areas you’ll be enjoying are very easy to get to. And, once the hike starts, you will get to choose from a number of great trails, some more popular than others. But, regardless of which trail we choose to trek on, you can be sure you will get to soak in the beautiful natural landscape.

This is an easy hiking trip. As a result, no experience is necessary. However, you should be in good enough physical condition to maintain a steady pace.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
