We meet at the airport in Marrakech and transfer to Amizmiz (1:30hs). Arrival to the guesthouse. We will enjoy the authentic berber hospitality from the first moment.
Today we will check the equipment to have everything ready for the trail.
A rather simple but long introduction day in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. The trail goes around Amizmiz, at the edge of the mountains, traversing several berber villages and ending 35 km later, in Ouirgane. Ouirgane is a village perched in the High Atlas, offering a splendid panorama.
Make sure to bring your poles, as they will allow you to make it through the ascents.
Taxi back to the guesthouse, lunch and afternoon free.
Today we will run through a beautiful pine forest to reach the highest point of the day, from where we will admire the plain of Marrakech.
Along the way we will traverse all types of paths, from Berber tracks to more technical trails. Manage your energy to make it until the end with a smile!
After breakfast, transfer to the Agafay desert. Today we leave the mountains behind and we have the luxury to experience running in the desert.
Today the objective is to reach a mountain hut, and there are a multitude of paths to do so. We will choose the most appropriate one depending on the conditions and your level.
We will enjoy the free afternoon and spend the night at the refuge.
Today the running program is from the mountain hut back to the guesthouse.

Passionate about trail running, the outdoors and everything that nature provides to us, I got certified as a mountain leader by the Club Alpin Belge. I also work as a school teacher and devote my free time to my artistic pursuits.
Maps are another of my big passions. I collect them and spend hours looking at them and searching for the best itineraries in the Alps, the Andes, the Carpathians...and then I take you to explore them, running or walking.
My mission is to share with you the happiness that a high altitude lake can provide, the comfort that one can find in a rustic mountain hut and the excitement of walking along a mountain ridge. Looking forward to meeting you!
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures!
