There is an abundance of fantastic rock climbing spots that can be found throughout Spain, from the Pyrenees to several places near Barcelona. However, the rock climbing possibilities in the Cantabrian mountains in the north of the country are just as, if not possibly better than those previously mentioned areas. And when you also incorporate the famed Picos de Europa, you really can’t go wrong.

Rock climbing is a very physical activity. As a result, participants in this trip should be in good physical condition. Also, some previous experience is a plus as it would open you up to more options. And there are a number of great rock climbing options in the Cantabrian mountains. A few examples of where I can take you includes the Pared sur del Pico Torres, the Torre Santa, the Cara sur del Picu, the Pared sur del Valverde, and so many more.

As a result of the huge variety of great walls to scale, you will not have any problem finding the right one. And beyond the actual climbing, which will provide you with an unforgettable thrill, but the views you will get of the Cantabrian mountain range will leave you in awe.
