Description

Follow me on this adventure in Valle del Jerte, in Spain, and discover Los Papuos canyon! With several jumps, water slides and rappelling spots, it’s one of the best areas to enjoy canyoning in Extremadura. If you love this activity, you can’t miss the chance to explore Los Papuos.

First, we’ll take a 45-minute hike from our starting point and approach the canyon. Consider that this walk has some difficulty. Then, we’ll enjoy 5-7 hours of sliding, rappelling and jumping in spectacular ponds. Some of the rappels are more than 30 meters high. Also, we’ll have the pleasure to see incredible views during the whole trip.

To take part of this canyoning adventure, keep in mind that you should have a good level of fitness. Also, you should be able to swim and it’s very important not to be afraid of heights. Although the activity might be challenging at times, I can assure you that the views and the sportive experience are totally worth the effort!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
