Description

Rising to a rounded top with white water shooting off the rock into the cool rivers, the Magic Mushroom canyon is a gem of the beach town of Cabarete.

This canyon provides great adventures that mix scrambling, hiking and rappelling.

There is a large collection of small and large jumps scattered across the canyon of Magic Mushroom, as well as a bundle of rappels that include a 60-meter descent.

After the dry adventures on land dive into the waters for a refreshing swim afterwards.

Magic Mushroom is one of the crowning jewels of the region, and the most popular adventure in Cabarete, a beach town in the province of Puerto Plata.

Canyoning involves rappelling and is a more technical adventure, but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered and will instruct you during the whole activity, even if you have no previous experience.

The canyoning trip lasts for approximately 2-3 hours, in addition to a 30-minute hike that takes you out of the canyon.

This trip is ideal for beginners searching for their first canyoning adventure, as long as you have a general level of fitness. And due to it being a water activity, you need to be able to swim.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
