There aren’t many areas to experience real river rafting in the Caribbean. The Dominican Republic, however, has the perfect spot for this kind of adventure. Yaque del Norte, one of the the longest rivers in the Caribbean, is born in the Cordillera Central and flows through the center of the country, with enough strength to offer unique rafting possibilities.
On this half-day rafting trip, we will cross canyons and rapids, and enjoy breathtaking views. The town of Jarabacoa, in La Vega Province, will be our starting point. Please note that this tour is suitable for anyone with good health conditions. You just have to know how to swim and be ready for an adrenaline rush!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
