Join us for one or several days of canyoning in the Alpi Apuane (Apuan Alps) National Park or, depending on weather conditions, in the Parco Nazionale dell’Appennino Tosco-Emiliano. We’ll bring you to the best canyoning spots of Tuscany like Garfagnana on the Serchio river, Orrido di Botri in Lucca or Apraia Trench.

Canyoning is a mix of walking, scrambling, climbing, jumping, abseiling (rappelling), and swimming. We will go down the mountain streams with ropes (in complete safety), following the river course, along the waterways gouged into the rock.

It is a super fun sport! You’ll be in contact with nature, among slides and jumps. You can come with your family and/or your friends. Satisfaction is guaranteed!

The Apennines and the Apuan Alps contain real jewels for practicing canyoning. Based on the wishes of the group we will either go for challenging canyons or more relaxed ones.

To give you an idea of what our day will be like, here is an example of a one-day program in the Torrente Serra in Tuscany:

– Altitude change: 270 m
– Highest waterfall: 12 m

The stream flows down from Mount Altissimo in the Apuan Alps. The canyon is of polished marble. It has a series of waterfalls and climbing steps that lead to two short jumps off the rope or diving depending on the water level.

Then you reach a beautiful waterfall of 12 m and an amazing toboggan. With a little courage and a suit for protection, you can slide down the toboggan and land in a large and deep pool at the bottom. For the more willing, you can repeat the slide or make dives of up to 8 feet.

Shortly after, we will run into another 4-feet leap. It leads to the narrowest part of this underground stream and a very impressive section indeed. Finally, a short slide and a flat part interspersed with puddles lead to the exit path.

If you plan to spend your holidays in Tuscany, join us for a half-day or full-day in the rivers of the Alpi Apuane Park or the Apennine area.

And during your holiday we can also go climbing or hiking in the Apuan Alps!
