Description

Join me in Chamonix for a wonderful backcountry skiing experience!

Backcountry skiing is a great sport that allows us to visit specific spots in the mountains, where our curiosity pushes us to go. Skiing off-piste means we can explore more remote places and steer away from the crowds, as well as enjoy beautiful views.

On this Chamonix backcountry skiing program, we will set out to discover the wonderful off-piste opportunities in the region. I will make sure to take you to the best spots for your level, and also take precautions in terms of weather and snow conditions. It is very important to go into the backcountry with an experienced certified guide because, although it is thrilling and inspiring, it is also more dangerous than skiing on-piste, especially if you don’t know the area and terrain.

The snow conditions of the region vary each day. Each participant will have an avalanche transceiver and a harness when skiing on glaciers. I will need  100% commitment from you to respect the security and safety rules.

This ski touring trip is suitable for all levels. Ideally, however, it is for skiers who are already at ease on marked ski slopes, with or without off-piste skiing experience. You will also require to be physically fit.

Feel free to get in touch with me if you come to Chamonix. It will be my pleasure to guide you in this beautiful valley and fantastic mountain range.

Mountain Guide

I am a native of Chamonix, France. It is there I developed a motivation to discover the various winter sports within the valley. After participating in snowboarding competitions, I enrolled in a mountain guide course, which I completed in 2013. On top of my passion for guiding, I am also passionate about audiovisual art, which I try to incorporate in the framework of my profession.
