Description
Join me in one of the most renown ski traverses in the world. An incredible alpine tour from Chamonix to Zermatt.
I propose a 6-day program during which we will enjoy an amazing ski traverse from Chamonix, in France, to Zermatt, home of the Matterhorn summit in Switzerland.
This trip travels through incredible alpine valleys, passes and glaciers, crossing the most spectacular mountain terrain in the world. Every year, thousands of skiers visit Europe to do this famous ski touring traverse.
During our journey, we will spend nights at high mountain huts situated in different villages that we will traverse. It's indeed a great opportunity to get in touch with the local culture and people from all over the world.
Some of the highlights of the mythical Haute Route, from Chamonix to Zermatt, are the following:
– The best ski touring spots through the Alps, from Mt Blanc to Matterhorn.
– Incredible and stunning views every day.
– Accommodation in real high mountain huts.
This program is for competent skiers, with prior ski touring experience in all snow conditions. Additionally, it is important to be in very good physical shape. Of course, we have to always keep in mind that the program will depend on the weather and snow conditions.

My name is Jean Benoit Hugeux. My friends call me JB. I'm an IFMGA / UIAGM mountain guide and a ski instructor. Mountain guiding is my passion ! I have always loved the mountains. I grew up in Briançon, a small town in the Hautes-Alpes, next to Serre Chevalier. Since several years, I'm exploring the mountains of the Alps and from all around the world. I also love travelling to discover new cultures and amazing landscapes from our breathtaking planet !
