Description

Heading out on a week-long heliskiing adventure to the heart of northwestern Canada's Skeena Mountains should be at the top of any powder hound's bucket list!

Boasting plenty of incredible mountain scenery and unspoiled, high-quality powder as far as the eye can see, the Skeena Mountains sit undisturbed in northwestern British Columbia.

Over the course of 7 days together, we will go out and explore as much of this vast and empty wilderness as we can. Each day, we will go somewhere a bit different, enjoying plenty of scenic vistas from mountain summits before plunging back down through old growth forests into the valley floors below.

Traveling with a local and knowledgable guide ensures that we will see the best spots and enjoy the highest-quality powder, depending on the current weather conditions.

And if the weather does not allow us to safely head out in the helicopter then we will hop into the snowcat instead and explore some of the exquisite scenery and great runs right around our lodge in Terrace.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
