Description

Meet an experienced guide on Copacabana Beach for a day full of adventure. We’ll explore the Rio de Janeiro coastline by bike, then hike up the Two Brother’s Hill, or Morro Dois Irmãos, in Portuguese. Then, we’ll enjoy some of the best views of the city.

We’ll start our day cycling along Copacabana Beach to Ipanema Beach. This part of Rio is a hive of activity and has great energy. We’ll soak all this up as we soar past, occasionally stopping for photo ops. After Ipanema Beach, we’ll leave our bikes and head up to the starting point of our hike.

On the way, we’ll drive through the Vidigal favela. As a local, your guide is super knowledgable and will be able to give you lots of information about the favela.

After we pass through the favela, we’ll jump out to begin our ascent of the Two Brothers Hill. It’ll take us around two hours in total to hike up and down. You’ll be able to hike through lush vegetation right here in the city. Then, you’ll be able to enjoy spectacular views from the top. You’ll see the beaches you cycled along as well as the iconic “Christ the Redeemer” statue, the Tijuca Forest and more!

We’ll go back the same way that we came, and the day will end back at Copacabana Beach.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
