The Dolomites are probably the most famous mountains of the Italian Alps. This 5-day expedition is your chance to explore this fabulous area on splitboard: join me!
Stretching from the River Adige to the Piave Valley, the Dolomite Mountains are part of the Southern Limestone Alps. These world-famous peaks are located in northeastern Italy, in the provinces of Belluno, South Tyrol and Trentino.
This 5-day splitboarding adventure will take us from the Pala Group (Pale of San Martino) all the way to Lake Braies (also known as Pragser Wildsee and Lake Prags). We will enjoy awesome descents on the Marmolada, the Sella Group, and the Fanes/Sennes Group.
Using the Superski Dolomiti lifts only when we need to, we will climb up to 700 meters per day. Then, after splitboarding all day long on top quality snow, we will stay in charming mountain huts and eat delicious Italian food!
The classic starting point of this expedition is San Martino di Castrozza, in the most southern part of the Dolomites. However, I am very flexible and we can start from other places too. You can check the complete itinerary below!
Keep in mind that this trip is suitable for at least intermediate splitboarders with some mountaineering experience and a good fitness level. Of course, I will be there along the way to help and guide you!
So, if you are up for this amazing splitboarding experience in the Dolomites, please contact me. I am sure that this 5-day alpine expedition will be unique!

From San Martino di Castrozza we will get to the Rolle pass and then through the Mulaz Pass or the Venegia Valley. We will finish the day at the San Pellegrino Pass.
From the San Pellegrino Pass we will descend through the Forcia Rossa and Malga Ciapela. With the cable cars of the Marmolada we will reach the highest point of the Dolomiti Super ski area, and ride down to the Fedaia Pass.
Using the famous Sellaronda lifts we will reach the Pordoi Pass and the Sass Pordoi. From there we will descend to Alta Badia. Our destination will be the Lagazuoi hut.
From the Lagazuoi hut we will get to the Sennes hut passing through Vallon di Fanes.
From Sennes we head up to the most famous mountain lake in the dolomites: the Braies Lake. Final descent and return to the starting point.
