The Vipava Valley was recognized by Lonely Planet in 2018 as one of their ten European destinations worth visiting. Indeed, it is more than worth a visit, especially if you’re a cyclist.
Vipava Valley’s high plateaus and steep slopes make for a number of great challenging trails. However, you don’t have to be an expert cyclist to enjoy what this place has to offer. Less difficult routes are also available, and they are equally exciting and scenic.
Much of the joy of cycling here comes from being surrounded by pristine nature. The lush rolling hills, vineyards, and picturesque mountain views are a calming presence.
Trips can be arranged in any season and can last from one to eight days.

We'll cycle 4-6 hours each day of the tour. Bring comfortable clothes, good walking shoes, a backpack, a bottle of water and snacks. In case of cancellation due to rain or other weather conditions you will be offered an alternative activity or full refund.

I live in Slovenia, a country where mountaineering is a way of life. My team of UIMLA and CMGA guides and instructors works and lives in Slovenia or Croatia. If I am not available to guide you, one of the experienced guides in my team will be your guide.
