If Slovenia is all you’ve been hearing about lately, then you must come and see for yourself what all the hype is about.
This 4-day multi-adventure program will be a great introduction to everything the stunning Julian Alps have to offer its visitors and, if you are up for it, you will even get to climb the famous Mount Triglav (2,863m)!
During these four days, I’ll take you Hiking, Rafting, Mountain Biking, Canyoning, Via Ferrata, Rock climbing or even zip-lining in the beautiful area around the scenic Lake Bled. A symbol of Slovenia’s beauty, Lake Bled and its fairy-tale castle are the number 1 tourist destination in the country.
We’ll organize the program together, according to your wishes and expectations. But to give you an idea of some of the possible activities, I’ve put together this program.
On Day 1, we’ll go mountain biking around Lake Bled. There are itineraries for all levels, from beginners to really experienced mountain bikers, so I’m sure we’ll find a challenging one for you and your group.
On Days 2 and 3, we could climb Mount Triglav. Triglav is the highest peak in Slovenia and an important part of the country’s identity: in fact, it is pictured on its coat of arms. Triglav can be climbed year-round although the ascent is definitely more challenging during the winter.
If you’d like a more mellow (but still challenging) hike, we could spend Days 2 and 3 hiking around the Seven Lakes Valley and the Komna-Soca Valley. The first of the 2 days can be spent going from Blato Meadow to the hut by the Seven Lakes and then on to Konma Hut. This area is one of the most beautiful parts of the Julian Alps! On the second day, we can either go back to Blato through a different trail or continue all the way to Bovec, known as Slovenia’s water sports center.
And then finally, on the last day, we can do some scenic driving around Triglav National Park stopping every 10-30 minutes for points of interest and different activities – including short hikes, swimming and rafting. Some of the landmarks we’ll see on this day tour are Lake Bled, the Karavanke Mountain Range, Kranjska Gora, the Soca River, Velika Korita Soce, Bovec, Kobarid, Boka Waterfall, Kozjak Waterfall and Bohinj Lake.
Alternatively, if you’d like more of an adrenaline rush, you can choose to devote Day 4 to rafting and maybe even some canyoning or zip-lining!
This 4-day trip is a great way to discover Slovenia and the stunning Julian Alps. I’m a Slovenian IFMGA-certified guide and know this area like the back of my hand. I will be happy to take you to all my favorite spots and to help you discover everything my beautiful country has to offer.

Mountain Guide
I am a IFMGA certified mountain guide, ski instructor, and sports teacher.
I believe guides do their best job when they guide in the mountains they are most familiar with. That is one of the biggest reasons why I specialize in guiding in Slovenia. I climb Triglav more than 25 times per year, which means I have climbed the most famous peak in my country around 400 times.
If you want to climb or ski in the Slovenian mountains, I am the right choice. I guide via ferrata, rock climbing, snow climbing, ice climbing, hikes, freeride skiing, and ski touring. Most of my summer work involves climbing Triglav, and most of my winter work involves Triglav and ski touring around it.
Slovenia offers good options for all of these activities, so you are welcome to take a look at my trips and find something for yourself. If you don't find anything, let me know, and I will see if I can help you!
I speak English. Ich spreche auch ein bisschen Deutsch. Parlo anche un po' di Italiano e hablo también un poco de Español.
If I am not available to guide you, one of the super experienced guides in my team will be your guide.

Shame about the weather meaning we had to not do what we wanted (including climb Triglav) - but the rest was superb

An absolutely wonderful experience, Mitja was amazing and the consummate professional throughout. The scenery was awesome, including the Fauna. The staff at base camp were great, and we all bonded and achieved, as a team. I’ll never forget it!

Very good information and felt very safe. It can be hard to align the Tempo to a big group, but we were several that thought it was too slow and thought about only book a guide from the hut to the top if there was a next time.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
