I am a IFMGA certified mountain guide, ski instructor, and sports teacher.
I believe guides do their best job when they guide in the mountains they are most familiar with. That is one of the biggest reasons why I specialize in guiding in Slovenia. I climb Triglav more than 25 times per year, which means I have climbed the most famous peak in my country around 400 times.
If you want to climb or ski in the Slovenian mountains, I am the right choice. I guide via ferrata, rock climbing, snow climbing, ice climbing, hikes, freeride skiing, and ski touring. Most of my summer work involves climbing Triglav, and most of my winter work involves Triglav and ski touring around it.

Really great trip and Mitja is a top guide. Went in early September and had great conditions and was also my first via ferrata and felt very confident doing it, althought the via ferrata part to the summit requires a bit of athleticism and a head for heights. Highly recommend.

Cveto was not only an excellent guide, he was a great guy and we really enjoyed a couple of days on Triglav in his company. We laughed a lot and have great memories from our trip. He was also super accommodating when some of our baggage didn’t arrive and we wanted to change days to allow us to get the bags before the climb. Climbing Triglav was a very special experience for me, as it was my first time climbing a mountain like this in Europe. I was a little nervous at first, but from the moment I got in touch with Mitja, the lead guide, he made me feel confident, safe, and reassured that I would be able to make it all the way to the summit. Before the climb, Mitja was always very attentive and took the time to answer every question and concern I had. During the days of the Triglav ascent, I spent more time with Žiga, but Mitja was still always checking in and making sure I was doing well.
