How to get there:
Any trip to the Seven Lakes Valley will begin with a flight into the Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU). From here it is easy enough to hire a car or bus and make the short drive up north to the start of the trip
Situated just to the southwest of Mount Triglav in Triglav National Park, the Seven Lakes Valley is a hiker’s paradise. Heading out on a hiking adventure to see all 10 of the lakes is a great way to spend any summer holiday. Enjoying the immaculate scenery as well as getting the chance to see the valley from below by climbing up surrounding mountains is always a treat. Among the most popular mountains to hike around the valley (other than Triglav) are Slemenova špica, Prisojnik, Razor and Bovški Gamsovec. From the summit of each of these scenic mountains are incredible views into the valley as well as out over the rest of the Julian Alps
