This 7-day crossing of the Dauphiné Alps is the most challenging traverse in the Alps and is for expert ski mountaineers only!

Located in southeastern France, the Dauphiné Alps are a group of mountain ranges west of the main chain. The Massif des Ecrins, the Taillefer range, Belledonne, and also Matheysine are all included in the Dauphiné Alps.

The Dauphiné Alps, also known as the Karakorum of the Alps, are one of its wildest corners. One of this program’s highlights is the opportunity to climb the Neige des Ecrins (4015m), the most famous mountain in the region.

This traverse is for advanced ski mountaineers only. You need to be able to ski on all types of snow conditions and terrain. You can also expect steep ascents and descents and lots of narrow couloirs. Moreover, you’ll find yourself skiing down 40° slopes everyday of the week!

Feel you’re up to the challenge? So don’t hesitate to contact me. I can promise a week full of excitement and adrenaline in the most beautiful setting in the Dauphiné Alps.
