On this full day hike, we’ll get the chance to explore one of Mexico most splendid places: Comitan. We can depart from Tuxtla Gutierrez, the capital of Chiapas, or San Cristóbal de las Casas, its most famous city. Thereon, we’ll enjoy the most breathtaking sceneries, as we learn more about this area.

Upon arrival at Comitan we’ll discover the colonial history and charm of this town, which has granted it the denomination of a Pueblo Mágico, or magical town. After exploring this enchanting place we’ll head towards the Las Nubes Waterfalls, enjoying a pleasant hike by the Santo Domingo River. These marvellous cascades lie at the Lacandon Jungle. So it is the perfect excuse to learn more about this rainforest and its endemic species.

Then, we’ll take a well deserved break so you can try the exquisite local cuisine. Later, we’ll continue our tour as you keep learning about the rich history and culture of this place. We’ll visit charming plazas and ancient landmarks, as we discover the mayan heritage that is still predominant in this area.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
