Description

Known as the Big One, Esk Ghyll is an amazing gorge located deep in the Esk valley in northern England. And on this full day trip, we would like to take you to this amazing place, so you can enjoy its array of jumps, climbs and swimming opportunities.

Near the South Lakes, Esk Ghyll is very isolated. To get there, you must make your way through the hardknott pass. Afterwards, you must hike for nearly an hour. However, once you reach the gorge, you will be lucky enough to climb some beautiful waterfalls and enjoy some fantastic views.

After you have soaked in the spectacular scenery, the fun will begin. And when it comes to the fun you can have, you must start with the jumps. Definitely not for the faint of heart, but for those with past experience, the jumps are massive! Very high and wonderfully exciting, you will have the time of your life leaping to the water below.

While the Esk Ghyll has a wild aura about it, which definitely adds to the fun, you can be sure that we will ensure safety throughout the day. We will hike with you and guide you to the best, and most secure spots. Hence making sure you not only have a great, thrilling experience, but a safe one as well.

An absolute natural highlight in northern England, the Esk Ghyll gorge is a great place for those looking for a rush. To experience it for yourself, just send us a request. We’re happy to make the adventure a reality for you.

We can also take you canyoning on some amazing cliffs in South Wales as well.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
