Description

Located in northwestern England, the Lake District boasts some of the country's most spectacular scenery!

One great way to see a different side of this stunning spot is to spend the day canyoning.

I run programs out of Kendal, Langdale, Ambleside, Windermere, Keswick and the Western Lakes, among others. Depending on your skill level and preferences, we can head out to any of these spots.

We'll spend the day hiking up through river beds and scrambling beside waterfalls. The highlight of the trip will be the canyoning, of course, following the flow of the river down from its source and out into the lake.

This is a great way to experience rivers and waterfalls in a different way and see how they work. It is also pretty refreshing on a hot day.

The Lake District offers nearly endless opportunities for these kinds of adventures and there's a perfect spot for canyoning enthusiasts of all levels. Just be sure to bring some old clothes and waterproof boots or Wellingtons.

So what are you waiting for? Book now for a fun and adventurous day of exploring various rivers and canyon's in England's lovely Lake District!

If you like the look of this trip then I think you will also enjoy my 2-in-multi-activity day in Keswich, of the northern Lake District!

Had a great day out with my instructor Paul who was very helpful in introducing me to trad climbing and getting me to be very comfortable on the rocks. We did six 1-pitch climbs and one multi-pitch climb while enjoying the phenomenal view of Langdale amongst many Herdwick sheeps. Would have extended the experience if I had more time and definitely would do it again.
