Description

One of the special activities you can carry out in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is to visit and learn all about its favelas (slums). Follow us for a different day in this magical city and hike the Morro Dois Irmaos (Two Brothers Hill).

Rio de Janeiro is Brazil’s most iconic city. Located by the Atlantic Ocean it benefits from perfect weather year round. People from all over the world come to enjoy its beautiful beaches, colorful streets and fun festivities. There are tons of activities to do there and many places to visit.

We want to invite you to a different day in the city, where we’ll hike through the forest up to Rocinha favela. There, you’ll learn all about the culture and history of the city and enjoy stunning views of Pedra da Gavea, Pedra Bonita, Serra da Carioca and Corcovado. We’ll continue hiking to the top of Two Brothers Hill, where we’ll get to see the whole of the South Side of Rio.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
