Gargellner Kopfe via ferrata in Montafon

Join me on this excellent day along the Gargellner Kopfe via ferrata in Montafon, Austria, and I promise you will have as much outdoor fun as you can imagine, as we fearlessly climb over massive rock formations and mountainsides, look down over the vast tracts of green valleys and forests below, and encounter awe-inspiring and special views all around.

Montafon is a valley located in the state of Vorarlberg in Austria, and is renowned for its abundance of outdoor activities, both in Summer and Winter. It has a long and distinguished alpine culture, and farming and agriculture still maintain a strong presence in life here.

We begin in the morning, where relevant safety information and gear will be dispensed, before we head off to the Via ferrata in earnest.

From there it is a short ascent before we choose whatever route takes our fancy, with some being less physically taxing, taking in less steep surfaces and challenges, and some involving wires dangling high above the valleys below and sheer rock faces!

There will be ample time to bask in the magnificent sweeping panoramic views over the Silvretta, Ratikon and Arlberg mountain ranges, as well as the tranquil and lovely alpine mountain lakes that dot the area.

We finish in the afternoon having seen the glorious sights of the Austrian countryside, all while experiencing a physically active and fun activity.
