Description

Catalonia, in addition to its historical and cultural attractions, is an ideal region for adventure tourism. This rock climbing tour is your chance to explore the vertical walls of Tarragona, near Barcelona!

Tarragona is a province south of Catalonia, northeastern Spain, with a coast on the Mediterranean Sea. Much of the province is hilly or mountainous, offering stunning spots for rock climbing experiences. Its calcareous, granite and conglomerate rocks host routes for levels.

On this one or more days trip, we can climb the rocky walls of several areas of Tarragona. In Montsant, for example, we can experience bouldering and sport climbing with breathtaking views. If you are looking for challenging routes, we should go to Siurana, a limestone formation with hard crags such as El Herbolario. Margalef, situated on the edge of Montsant, offers thousands of routes ranging from 4 to 9b.

Please note that this tour is suitable for all levels: no matter your skills, we will find the perfect spot for you. However, you should have a good fitness level.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
