Meeting point
We meet in Bivio in the morning and take a taxi transfer to the Julier Pass, where our traverse begins. From there, we climb over Piz Surgonda (3,195 m) and descend to the Jenatsch Hut for the night.
From the hut, we climb up to the Fuorcla Laviner Pass and enjoy a ski descent to the village of Preda. From there, we take the train through the Albula Tunnel and skin up to the Es-Cha Hut.
A steep ascent leads us to Porta d’Es-Cha before descending to the north side. We then climb Kesch Pitschen and ski down to the Kesch Hut.
We traverse the Fontauna and Vallorgia valleys and climb over the Scalettahorn before skiing down to the Grialetsch Hut.
Our final day takes us to the winter summit of Piz Sarsura, followed by a long and rewarding ski descent to Crastatscha in the Engadin Valley.
