Zermatt is one of the most famous and exclusive ski resorts in Switzerland. It is located at the bottom of the Cervino Valley, in the south of the country. This beautiful commune lies at 1620 meters above sea level.
But Zermatt is not only a huge ski resort. It is also close to the worldwide famous Matterhorn Mountain. You have to come ski on this paradise!
Therefore I would like to offer some interesting ski mountaineering tours in Zermatt. They won’t take more than one day. In this way, you will be able to get a real feel of the place, skiing among its most beautiful corners.
The programs I propose below are suitable for beginners as well as intermediate backcountry skiers.
BREITHORN (4164 M)
We’ll depart via Schwarztor or the Thodul glacier. The ascent will take between 1.5 and 2 hours. Then, we can seek out the best lines. I will lead a group of up to 3 guests. Price: 260 CHF per person.
BLACK GATE (3731 M)
It’s an easy ski tour with a magnificent glacier slope where we can let go. The total ascent time is around 1.5 hours. I can take a maximum of 3 and the price is 215 CHF per person.
PFULWE (3155 M)
We’ll ascend from the Fluhalp River towards Täschalpe (1449m). Ascent time: 2:30 hours. After that, we will track some fresh snow! I will guide a group of no more than 3 participants. Price per person: 215 CHF.
Next departures go from February to April, 2018. It’s the best season to enjoy winter activities in Zermatt. That’s why I also offer multi-day programs in the area, like this 5-day ski tour from Saint Luc to Zermatt. You can check it out!
So if you’re ready to join me on these day tours, please fill out the form and get in touch with me now. Zermatt is waiting for you. And so am I!
