Gulmarg 10-day guided off piste snowboarding adventure, India

Do you live for powder? Then join me in the hottest off-piste snowboarding program of the last years! Let’s go together to Gulmarg, India. 

I promise you will have the Indian curry powder experience of a lifetime, with cable cars dropping you at 4000 meters and unlimited options to snowboard on 1500 meter long slopes.

Due to its unbeatable climate, Gulmarg, in Kashmir, India, is an excellent spot for powder. Its influence on the Himalaya mountain range makes the area of Gulmarg receive up to 15 meters of snow per year! In this way, you benefit from wide open slopes, superb trees and deep, very deep powder. And note that skiers are also welcome in this program.

This 10-day program includes 6 full snowboarding days. I will guide you to different locations and activities, including some amazing tree snowboarding, descent magnificent mountains and spend a night at the beautiful lake Dal, in a famous houseboat. These are just some of the great memories you will take from this tour.

Some of the highlights of this program are:

• Transferring by private jeep from Srinagar to Gulmarg.

• Guided off-piste snowboarding in the extensive backcountry, covering 4 different snowboarding fields.

• Uninterrupted descents of almost 2000 vertical meters of fresh powder each day, with a gondola rising us to almost 4000 meters.

• Spending a night in one of the famous houseboats on Lake Dal.

The night at the Hotel Highlands Park is included in the price, as well as all the lifts.

This is an open group with a fixed departure date. Ask me for more information on the dates. For this tour, I will take groups of up to 6 snowboarders / skiers.

Apart from your basic snowboarding gear, I recommend you bring a splitboard with skins, as we may decide to do a short climb to get the best snowboarding on untouched slopes. I also strongly recommend the use of an avalanche airbag backpack.
