Description

Are you looking for a canyoning program for beginners? Then come visit the Spanish comarca of La Vera and discover the fantastic Garganton canyon. You won’t regret your choice!

Canyoning combines the pleasure of exploring a remote wilderness area with the excitement of sliding into the water and jumping into natural pools. If you have little experience or have never tried this activity, don’t miss this amazing chance in the Garganton canyon.

On this half-day trip, we’ll hike for 30 minutes from our starting point and reach the beginning of the canyon. As we move forward into the route, we’ll notice the difficulty increases little by little. For this reason, it’s a great opportunity to get started with canyoning and learn its basics concepts. On the way, we’ll find several rappelling sections of up to 15 meters.

If you’re planning to take part of this adventure, keep in mind that it has a duration of 4-6 hours and that the best time to come is from March to July. Also, we’ll cover a distance of around 800 meters and face an elevation gain of 180 meters.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
