Description

The Sierra Madre Occidental in Mexico is a sensational mountainous area. And on this half-day, approximately 2 hour long hiking trip, we would like to guide you to the area’s best spots.

Located in the Mexican state of Jalisco, near the famous resort city of Puerto Vallarta, the Sierra Madre is full of fantastic sights, views, wild life, flora and fauna.

Our trip will begin at a designated meeting place in Puerto Vallarta. From there, we will make our way into the Sierra Madre. Once there, you will be thrust into the beauty of nature. You will get to see everything from parrots and macaws to wild orchids and vibrant green forest. There are also a number of great peaks that offer tremendous viewpoints that will make you feel as if you can see the entire world.

Other great aspects of this hiking trip include a visit to the Cuale River, where you can relax and swim, and even a tequila tasting session!

This is a very easy trip. We will only be hiking for approximately 2 kilometers. As a result, it is open to people of all levels.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
