Half-day Horseback riding near Pucón, in the Villarrica National Park

Villarrica National Park is home to unique landscapes and the famous Villarrica Volcano. This national park near Pucón is situated at the foothills of the Andes Mountains, which provide a beautiful backdrop for horseback riding. There are many ways to explore and enjoy the Villarrica National Park, but horseback riding is one of the best!

To get started, we will meet at our agency in Pucón at 1:00pm. Together,  we will travel to the nearby Villarrica National Park to begin riding! The area surrounding Pucón is privileged with diverse natural landscapes including volcanoes, lakes, waterfalls, hot springs and nature reserves.

Once on horseback, we will travel along a circuit of trails and rural roads near the Villarrica National Park. We will even pass through the local Quelhue Mapuche Community and cross the lovely Pitraco and Trancura Rivers.

During this tour, we will be able to observe the flora and fauna unique to this corner of the world. We will also catch views of some nearby volcanoes along the way: Lanín, Villarrica and Quetrupillán.

Our horses have been especially trained to guide people with and without experience. Regardless of your skill level, we will find the perfect horse for you!

We typically ride with groups of 6-8 people. Our guides are bilingual in English and Spanish, and we also have German speaking guides available by request.
