Description

A chance to explore the High Tatras of Slovakia is an opportunity definitely worth taking. And on this trip, I would like to guide you for a 1-day snowshoe tour through this magnificent mountain range.

Since this trip is only for one day, there is no strict itinerary. Instead, depending on when we depart, either in the morning or the afternoon, whichever you prefer, we will make our way through one of the area’s many, beautiful trails. And along the trail you will have the opportunity to see the wilderness of the Tatras mountain range. And because this trip takes place during the winter, you will get to see that wilderness draped in snow.

This trip is not difficult at all. The trails are easy to manoeuvre through. Hence making this trip ideal for people of every age and level. It is also great for those people who are looking to just enjoy a few hours of leisurely exploration of a wonderful natural area.

Furthermore, throughout this snowshoe tour you will get to enjoy many memorable views of the peaks of the High Tatras. You will also get to admire the area’s abundance of valleys as well.

Snowshoeing is a great activity, not just for what you will see, but also for the exercise it provides. However, when it comes to place where you can enjoy snowshoeing, they do not get much better than the High Tatras of Slovakia.

Do you want to experience this brief, but exciting 1-day snowshoe tour? Then send me a request. I would be happy to guide you.

If you would like to enjoy a full day hiking tour through the Tatras that is open all year round, I can also lead you on this trek to the Teryho Chata hut.

Great trek with a highly qualified and friendly guide. The hike was quite challenging and would have taken us longer to reach the summit then anticipated but despite not making it to the top we had a fabulous experience with great scenery and views. Would recommend booking with Peter, a real pro.

Enjoyed my day with Peter, who went out of his way to make the trip enjoyable and fun. Environment is stunning. If you might be insecure about the via ferrata: no worries. Easy, not very technical. Was happy to have Peter with me though, the track was not very obvious for me as we had to climb through the gorge, over fallen trees. Totally safe, just unexpected. Just bring a fair amount of stamina and you’ll love this track
