Description
Big Bend is a national park in West Texas that borders Mexico and offers spectacular desert scenery. Join a certified guide and explore this park hiking one its most impressive routes, the Lost Mine Trail.
You can enjoy many views of mountains and the canyons below as you hike. Highlights include the Casa Grande Peak and the Juniper Canyon. As you gain altitude, the views get more and more stunning and you’ll also be able to admire some interesting rock formations towards the end of the journey.
This trail is of moderate difficulty. It’s just under five miles long, so it can be completed in about 2.5 hours, but it does have considerable uphill gain.
