Description

Calling all hikers to the Appalachian Trail! Join us for a 1-day hike to Charlies Bunion!

Tennessee, located in the southeast corner of the United States, is famous for its natural landscapes, specifically the Appalachian Trail. On the trail, you will find rocky cliffs and steep ravines, all of which contribute to the beauty of the region. And under the supervision of a local guide, we make sure to take our hikers on the less-visited paths for optimal enjoyment.

Over the course of approximately 6 hours we will make our way to Charlies Bunion, a famous mountainside on the Appalachian Trail. From the peaks of the mountainside, views of Mount LeConte, Ocunaluftee watershed and the Sawteeth Ridge will be free for you to enjoy. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the nature and history of the region, such as the origin story of some settlers in the region and the Spruce-Fir Tree epidemic.

This 1-day hike is of a moderate to strenuous level of difficulty, so we ask that hikers consider this when signing up. More still, your guide will prepare a seasonal backcountry lunch for you to enjoy on the trail.

Will was great wise and fun to spend the day with.

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!

Nate was very knowledgeable and got me to the top of mountain. He’s not as engaging as most of the guides I’ve had over the years. I’ve learned a lot about most of my climbs as guides talk about the mountain and the area maybe even plant and animals and I enjoy getting to know them better. We did talk a bit more on the way out of the trailhead. All in all a good experience. But not sure your company told him I had a knee replacement and would be slow.
