Description

In the northwest of the state of New York, the Adirondack mountains offer plenty of opportunities for hiking in scenic trails. This time, I propose to take you on a hiking day to Goodman Mountain, a 660 meters peak in the Tupper Lake region.

This mountain is part of the Tupper Lake Triad, a hiking challenge along 3 peaks.

Though this hiking tour at Goodman Mountain has some difficulty level, anyone can join in. Whether you are a solo adventurer, a family or a group of up to six friends, I guaranty you will spend a great day on this exciting trip.

This is a 5.5 kilometers round trip, that will take between 4 and 5 hours. You’ll hike the first kilometer on one of the old roads that lead to Goodman Mountain’s top. The rest of the trek may be steep, but the breathtaking views the Adirondacks offer will make the effort worth it. In addition, from the summit you will be able to appreciate a spectacular landscape composed by the surrounding mountains and lakes.

Adirondack pathways are usually rocky, muddy and full of roots. This is why I recommend you bring the proper clothing: hiking boots and lightweight top and bottom. In case you don’t have your personal gear, you will receive trekking poles and daypacks.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hike in a rich forest scenario. Join one of the AMGA guides in our team and enjoy one of Tupper Lake’s most beautiful peaks! Request to book this trip!

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
