Description
The British Virgin Islands (BVI) are a true paradise in the Caribbean, with warm, crystal-clear waters and sugary sand beaches. The BVI offers some pretty amazing landscapes for a hiking tour! We invite you to join us for a Sunset Loop hike on Peter Island, a private island-resort, making a day trip from Virgin Gorda.
The main trail is about 8 kilometers round-trip. The Sunset Loop covers about 5 kilometers, but bear in mind the last 2,5 km are almost straight up, so you need a good fitness level to join this hike.
We will be hiking hike along a terrain with short trees and some tall cactuses, mostly scrubby grass. As we walk on this small island, we may encounter herds of wild goats!
Once we reach the island summit, sitting on a colorful Adirondack chair, we will enjoy beautiful sunset views looking west, over Pelican Key, Norman Island and St. John in the distance. You will feel one with nature, enjoying the peace and beauty of a spectacular view.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
