Description

Are you an experienced cross-country skier looking to improve your techniques? Then this full day intermediate level course is for you.

The course takes place in the Peter Lougheed Provincial Park in the Canadian Rockies. The area where this course takes place is also positioned approximately 90 kilometers west of the city of Calgary.

Within the Peter Lougheed Park, there are over 75 kilometers of well groomed, incredibly scenic cross-country ski trails. Many of these trails are perfect for beginners and intermediate level skiers, which is where we will be enjoying this course. However, there are also more challenging trails ideal for experts. So, in the future, you can definitely return to test your abilities.

Our experienced and certified guides will help you improve your existing skills, while also teaching you some new ones as well. And you will get to learn those things on beautiful trails in the vast and spectacular western Canadian landscape.

Cross-country skiing in Alberta is a fantastic experience. And because the skiing area where the course takes place is located near the city of Calgary, this trip makes for a great addition to a trip you may be taking there. Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
