Description

Join me on the rocks in Salzburger and Kärntner Land. This area is the perfect place to start climbing experiences in higher altitude- but still stepped terrain.

Multi-pitch climbing at the "Plombergstein“ or at the "Breitwand“ is perfectly suitable for people with only few or no climbing experience. But also advanced climber will have a great time! We have an optimal terrain with perfect quality of stone and a stunning view of Wolfgangsee or Millstättersee.

A beautiful alternative -especially on hot days- is Maltatal and it’s rocks in the shade or climbing way up high, close to the waterfalls.

There’s no need of climbing experience or knowledge in belaying techniques to go on this climbs. But there are also great and fun route options for advanced climbers.

The only requirements are to be in good physical condition to enjoy a climb for a couple of hours, don't have fear of heights, and have sure-footedness.

If you want to go on a multi-pitch climb around Salzburg or Carinthia, contact me for more information!

If you are looking for a challenging via ferrata instead, you can check this amazing 'skyladder' via ferrata in the Dachstein region.

Mountain Guide

Growing up in Salzburg's Lungau, Austria, my enthusiasm for the mountains has been rooted in me since childhood.

In winter, I passionately lead my guests on ski tours or show them the best runs while skiing off-piste. In later season I’m guiding in Norway (Lyngen/Senja). And another great passion is ice climbing on frozen waterfalls.

In summer I like to be out and about on rocks and ice in my local mountains but also abroad.

I look forward to go on tour together with you!

We initialy planned to climb the grossvenediger but the weather conditions were not great. Klaus was very kean to find a good alternative for the group considering our technical level. We climbed the mosermandl and it was beautiful, the whole group loved it, view was amazing and challenge was also there. Klaus was very fun and engaging we definetly would recommend him to any group or friends !

Klaus was epic and challenged us to get out of our comfort zone. Due to really unfortunate circumstances we had to change guide last minute, which left us in the dark as to whether the trip would go ahead. Explore share did sort the issue but it felt like it took a lot of pestering and communication could have been better.

Klaus was an incredible guide. He knew exactly what he was doing. And he was great fun to talk to. I can only but recommend him! 5/5. Thanks for the great adventure Klaus!
