Do you dream of making new tracks in fresh powder? Do you enjoy the solitude that comes with off-piste skiing? Then this La Grave freeride skiing day is perfect for you!

Depending on the conditions, I can guide you around the off-piste skiing paradise of La Grave or can take you to the Serre-Chevalier, Montgenèvre or Sestrière backcountry terrain.

La Grave has a mythical status among skiers. Hence, it has been attracting people from all over the world for many decades. At the foot of the incredible La Meije peak (close to 4000 meters), it has only one (very old!) ski lift and no pistes at all. So the mountain will be your playground!

Moreover, La Grave is an experience in itself. That’s why no freeride skiing fan should miss out on it! A guide is recommended on your first visit and, even if you’ve already been to La Grave before, I can take you to all the best secret spots and my personal favorites.

Apart from all this, I will lend you the security equipment you’ll need (beacon, probe and shovel). I will also include beautiful photos and video footage of your day at La Grave. With these stunning images, you will remember this day forever!

We really enjoyed our Via Ferrata tour with Willie! He explained everything very well, from how to set up and use the equipment to what to expect during the climb. He explained in detail how the safety features work as well as what to be careful for in terms of falling and the dangers associated with them. And the dangers associated with them. We had a ton of fun, and my daughter who was afraid successfully completed the course as well as the shorter more challenging routes at the end. On top of everything, Willie took some really nice pictures of us! We would 100% hire him again to take us on another Via Ferrata or even just a regular climbing outing.

Our group had a great experience. Most of us were at Font for the first time so this was a great intro. The guide was helpful and even offered to drive us back to Paris rather than us having to take the train. Some coordination info on the website was unclear but I was able to chat with a representative online to get it sorted. Only regret was not signing up for the full day experience!
