Description

Join me on this 7-day trad climbing trip to La Pedriza. It is a great opportunity to try routes of different styles everyday and go back home with a whole lot of climbs in your chalk bag!Because of its geological formation, La Pedriza has a perfect boulder field of rare eroded granitic rocks. This makes it an incredibly scenic place to climb. Located on the southern slopes of the Guadarrama mountain range, the area is full of birds to watch and enjoy. This 7-day trad climbing trip to La Pedriza will start in Madrid, where you’ll spend a night in a Hostel. Then, the next day I’ll pick you up to go to La Pedriza where you’ll be able to choose from over a thousand routes to climb!Once there, I’ll give you all the information and documents to climb the routes you choose. I’ll also guide you through the approaches. And I’ll be available 24 hours a day in case you need any help.So please contact me to make this 7-day trad climbing trip happen! And if you don’t have a whole week available, check out this shorter trip: 4-day La Pedriza rock climbing course.During the summer months of July and August, it becomes too hot to climb in La Pedriza. Therefore, I choose Los Galayos as an alternative climbing location. Because of its proximity to Madrid and its amazing features, Los Galayos is a better option for the summer months.

Mountain Guide

AEGM certified mountain guide from Spain

I started from a very young age going to the mountains with my family. Soon enough I was able to get my own material in order to pursue my vertical dreams.

I’m used to dealing with clients, and like very much to teach with a pedagogic approach. My aim is for my clients to learn and acquire all the techniques needed.

I’m certified as ski, alpinism and canyoning guide, and Wilderness First Responder (WFR) as well. I’m also member of the Spanish Mountain Guide Association (AEGM).

I’ve done climbs in Europe, Morocco, Patagonia and Alaska.

Other than Spanish, I speak fluent English and basic French.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
