The Lagadishi Walking Trail, at approximately 2 kilometers, or just over a mile, is a short, easy and fun trail on the island of Bonaire. It is a great way to explore the Washington Slagbaai National Park. It is also a great way to see the island’s wildlife. Some examples of what you might see include flamingos, as well as wandering iguanas.
The terrain you will be trekking on while hiking on the Lagadishi Walking Trail is very desert like. You will also make your way to a coastal limestone plateau. From the plateau, you will get to see an array of salt flats, mangroves and sand dunes. Thus providing you with some truly unique and fantastic sights.
