If you are looking to enjoy a full day of ski touring and freeride skiing in the Haute-Savoie region, join me on this day trip to Les Carroz, in the Grand Massif ski resort in the French Alps.
Les Carroz is located 55 kilometres from Chamonix, in a large sunny plateau above the Arve Valley. With a mountain elevation of 2500 m, this resort offers snowboarders and skiers a 1360 m vertical drop.
You will also find a great diversity of terrain in Les Carroz and fantastic off-piste possibilities, from wide open slopes above the tree line to the large snowbowl at the top of the area. Amazing long runs continue below this into the forest, heading down to Les Carroz or to neighbouring villages like Samoens or Morillons.
This program is suitable for skiers with an intermediate skill level. We can adapt the itinerary to your goals and experience. Please note you need to have previous ski touring experience in order to join me on this trips. Also, note I guide skiers from 12 years old.
I will provide you with the safety gear (DVA, shovel and prove), and technical gear like ropes and harnesses.
So what are you waiting for? If you want to enjoy a great freeride and ski touring experience, send me a request! You can also check other day trips that I guide in this area, like this La Clusaz ski touring and freeride day trip, this Flaine ski touring and freeride day trip, or this Megeve ski touring and freeride day trip.

Meeting point Les Carroz |
The Jura massif is an ideal place to learn and grow your experience in alpine techniques. I practice mountaineering, ski touring and ice climbing in the winter. I am also located very close to the Swiss and French alpine massifs.
First, I started as a ski rescuer. My passion for skiing and climbing helped me discover the classic routes in the mythical summits of the Alps. The first mountain courses I went on with friends as a guide - which I did with a lot of effort, doubts and perseverance - were much needed to build my experience. Still, they also gave me a lot of joy, and I was able to pursue them while laughing and creating beautiful moments shared.
My experience and terrain knowledge will allow you to move safely and enjoy your time, without a promise of the summit but of sharing a privileged and unique moment in the mountains.
Finally, I'm a fully certified IFMGA mountain guide.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
