Mitten Ridge 1-day hike in Sedona, Arizona

Are you a hiker looking to traverse the rugged trails of Sedona, Arizona? Then join me on this 1-day hiking trip on the Mitten Ridge trail!

Sedona is located in the middle of the state of Arizona and is famous for its humongous red rocks.

The Mitten Ridge trail located at almost 1,200 feet, is an old wagon road that is now used to guide hikers through the spectacular mountainous desert. Over the course of 5-7 hours, we will hike about 8.6 miles in order to reach some spectacular views of red rock. On the trail, you will not only get a nice dose of all of the nature at our disposal, but you will also get a taste of the history of the region, as well. As your guide, I will share the history and story of T.C. Schnebly and his wife Sedona, for whom the town is named after, so that you can connect to the region within the context of its origins. More still, this trail is less traveled than others in Sedona, and therefore you can enjoy up to an hour at a time of hiking without interruption from other foot traffic.

This trip offers a discount for groups of certain sizes and also for children 10 and under, so it is a great family activity. We also provide our participants with snacks to enjoy along the trail.
