This classic tour takes 2 days and gets to the heart of Monte Rosa, in the Pennine Alps.
The traverse in this beautiful area of the Alps is both unique and classic. Leaving from Gressoney, we go to Zermatt and then return to the starting point. The views are fantastic as some famous 4000 m peaks surround us.

From Gressoney to Zermatt
We take the cable car until Punta Indren (3260 m). Then, we ski up intul the Colle de Lys (4260 m). The descent follows: through the Grenz glacier, enjoying breathtaking views of the 4000 m peaks around us. Finally we reach Zermatt, where we spend the night in a hotel.
From Zermatt to Gressoney
During this day we can ski some of the variants on Teodulglaicer or climb the Breithorn (4164 m). Then, we will ski from Valle di Vera to Champoluc. We finally return with the cable car to Gressoney.

- Guiding fee
In a hotel (in Zermatt).
The price includes booking service for the hotel in Zermatt and special renting prices for Ski equipment, ABS backpack and safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel).
Level: you will need to be a safe off-piste skiier in all conditions, and fit enough to cope climbing up to 1200 vertical meter a day.
Snow conditions: Thanks to the altitude of the area and the frequent weather influence from the south, the Monte Rosa massif is expecting the whole winter heavy snowfalls. From December to mid-March you can find here mostly powder conditions. Thanks to the altitude we can ski spring snow till early May.
