Challgne youself on a 5-day guided ski tour through the majestic Atlas Mountains, where the reward is an epic skiing experience!
Your adventure begins and ends in the vibrant city of Marrakech, known as the 'Ochre City', offering a rich blend of culture and history, including its famous souks, mosques, and palaces.
The first three days will be spent exploring the high-altitude routes from Toubkal Refuge, with the thrilling finale at the summit of North Ouankrim, where you'll ski down from 4080m to Chemharouch.
In addition to skiing, discover the stunning Imnan Valley and enjoy some free time to explore Marrakech. All treks are led by qualified, local guides.

Meeting point
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech and City Exploration
Arrive in Marrakech and transfer to a riad in the Medina. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city.
Day 2: Ski Touring to Likmt Pass and Tachddirt
Drive to Tachddirt valley and embark on a ski tour to Likmt Pass at 3555 m. Ski down to Tachddirt and overnight in a lodge.
Day 3: Ski Tour to Bouignaouan and Transfer to Aremd
Ski tour to Bouignaouan at approximately 3800 m, then ski down to Tachddirt for lunch. Afterward, transfer to Aremd or Ait Souka village.
Day 4: Trek to Toubkal Refuge
Trek to Refuge Neltner at 3207 m and spend the night in the mountain refuge.
Day 5: Summit Akioud and Ski Descent
Summit Akioud at around 4000 m and ski down to the refuge.
Day 6: Summit Mount Toubkal and Ski Descent
Summit Mount Toubkal at 4167 m and ski back down to the refuge.
Day 7: Ski Tour to Afella/ Ouankrim and Transfer to Marrakech
Ski tour to Afella or Ouankrim at approximately 4000 m, then enjoy a long descent towards Imlil. Transfer back to Marrakech.
Day 8: Departure from Marrakech
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Accommodation
During the trip, accommodation includes a stay in a riad or hotel in Marrakech, a mountain lodge in Tachddirt, a Berber village guesthouse in Aremd or Ait Souka, and a high mountain refuge at Toubkal Refuge or Refuge Neltner.

The level of the ski touring is intermediate to advanced, with altitudes reaching up to 4167 m.
Required skills include off-piste skiing, ski touring with skins, and basic alpine fitness. The daily vertical gain typically ranges from 800 to 1200 m.

I am Mohamed Toudaoui, experienced certified trekking guides based in Imlil, near Marrakech. I am the co-founder of the Morocco Adventure Peak Trekking Company which is the first and only High Atlas Mountain-based trekking agency. For more than 20 years, we have been guiding visitors to discover the best parts of Morocco, exploring hidden cornes alongside the Berber people othe Moroccan High Atlas and the magical desert.
I speak English, French, Spanish and German. I am a fully certified mountain guide. I am a graduate of the Mountain Guides Training Center in Morocco (Centre de Formation Aux Metiers de Montagne CFAMM). We are also graduates from the Federation Royale de Ski et Montagne. Our company is registered at the Minister of Tourism with an official license.
Your safety is our number one priority. Our leaders and guides have undertaken the Wilderness First Aid Medical Course. They are competent to deal with any adverse situations during the tours. Our guides, porters and mule handlers are well paid, well fed and treated ethically.
We are ecologically aware and will not do anything to damage the beautiful environment of Morocco. We are also good listeners. Understanding people is an important skill in the High Atlas.
