Description

Come with me to this fantastic climbing trip to the Urbion peak in Spain! For a full day, we will spend time in the insides of the great Iberian System ascending until we reach the mount’s summit at 2228 meters.

The area where the high mountain lays is full of forest and peaks higher than 2000 meters tall.

Here, we find Sierra del Urbion, one of the most beautiful there are in the northeast of Spain.

In spite of it rather low altitude, the trip to the summit offers a really complete adventure. We will do some mountaineering, and get in contact with the nature and landscapes.

February is the time when the surroundings are covered in snow and ice. This gives a further wintery touch to the ascent.

The use of crampons and piolet is a must in our expedition. Sometimes, we also had to resort to the use of snowshoes to make our way up smoother.

Finally, the Urbion’s summit will be waiting for us, with its rocky conglomerate.

In order to live a full experience of the area, we have prepared a circular route. By following it, you will be able to see the high terrain landscapes, and the lagoons and glaciers.

The Laguna Negra stands out, being the gem of the Iberian System.

You have little climbing experience? Don’t worry since this trip requires basic climbing knowledge. In fact, it is the perfect tour for those who have recently started practicing this sport and want to learn more.

So, hurry up and join me in this amazing climbing trip to the peak of mount Urbion at 2228 meters. I promise you it is an experience that will leave you breathless. I‘ll be waiting for your contact. It will be a pleasure to be your guide and accompany you to the insides of the fascinating Iberian System.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
