Description

Situated an hour north from Bogota, Suesca’s sandstone cliff is one of the best rock climbing spots in Colombia. Join me for one or more days and I will take you on a great multi-pitch climbing experience.

This impressive long cliff boasts more than 500 routes, of different levels of difficulty, ranging from 5.6 to 5.13c. There are also routes up to 5 pitches long (about 150 meters high). Besides its beautiful landscapes, Suesca offers easy access to the rocks. The climbing venue is located just about a 10-minute walk from the town of Suesca.

Depending on your level, previous experience and time available, we will choose the best route for you. However, bear in mind you need to have a climbing level up to 6b.Suesca offers great climbing possibilities, in the middle of nature in the Cundinamarca region. Also, with great weather all year round!

I am a certified and experienced guide, and your safety is always my main priority. I will make sure you make the most out of this climbing experience, improving your technique and putting in practice your climbing skills.

I am a climber by passion and a mountaineer at heart. Since 2007, when I tried climbing and then mountaineering for the first time, I began my training process in each discipline. Today I am a Rock Climbing Instructor and Coach, trained by coaches from world-class competitors such as Lucelia Blanco and Eva Lopez.

I am also an ACGME certified guide (Colombian Association of Mountain and Climbing Guides), which certifies that I hold the knowledge and techniques needed to guide anyone in sport and traditional climbing (classic or fissure).

In 2016 I started my training to become an ASEGUIM (Ecuadorian Mountain Guides Association)– IFMGA (International Federation of Mountain Guide Associations) guide. I am being trained under the best worldwide standards in the techniques of climbing, mountaineering, alpine climbing and mountain rescue. Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
