In this occasion I propose you to join me in a ski touring trip in Vallée de la Clarée, Nevache, in the Hautes Alpes. We will be near Briançon and Montgenèvre, and the Ecrins Natural Park.

This area is particularly suitable for ski touring beginners because it features quite simple routes. The altitude change in these is moderate, from 600 to 1200 meters. Therefore, it’s the ideal setting for you to improve your skills in a beautiful scenario.

But it’s not only beginners. Indeed, the terrain is extremely varied, so I can also plan a more demanding tour. If you already have ski touring experience, don’t hesitate to discover Nevache with me.

We will spend the nights in mountain huts. I can plan a trip 3 to 5-days long. Depending on the participants’ level, I will decide the itinerary and therefore the refuges where we will stay.

It’s a beautiful location, mainly known by locals. If you are looking for a more classical destination, have a look at this Ski touring trip around Gran Paradiso.

Do you want to explore this beautiful white region ski touring with me? Then please contact me for more information, and we can start planning!

What People are Saying about Andrea Benato

Andrea was personable and did a good job of getting my daughter to the summit. As far as feedback, he said we didn\'t need helmets. Given the possibility for slips, rocks from above, etc., I think he should always recommend clients use a helmet even when the risk is low. Also felt could have been more accommodating of older climbers (like me at 61) and adjusted the pace accordingly.

We had a great time with Andrea! It’s quite cool to go in the mountains with someone your age. Andrea is one of the youngest Italian guides but already has a lot of experience and you can tell it once up there. We felt very safe all the way, he took us to some really nice lines and we even enjoyed some powder. He was always adapting to the rhythm of the team. The views around Val d’Aoste are amazing and the great food and service in the huts made the trip very special. Andrea knows everyone so we even enjoyed special treatment… (that tiramisu was amazing…)We will come back! There is a lot more to discover around there.
