Description

Whether you snowboard, telemark or ski, Chamonix is one of the key spots for people who wish to practice off-piste skiing. Instead of the tamed conditions found on piste, off-piste skiing opens you the door to the wilderness. Also, whenever possible, to awesome powder snow descents!

Today I invite you to join me on a 5-day off-piste skiing course. In order to master your technique, you need to adapt your riding to the snow and terrain.

So, I guarantee you can achieve rapid progression with the tips I will give you. Together we can discover the glaciers of La Vallée Blanche, Les Grands Montets and many others, in the stunning Mont Blanc Massif. Besides, we will be surrounded by some of the legendary peaks of the Alps.

My main goal will be to give you the tips you need to improve your freeride skiing techniques. Also, I will take you to ski on the best snow conditions!

So, during this 5-day program you'll learn the following:
-Improvement of off-piste techniques
-How to evaluate and deal with risks linked to off-piste skiing
-How to use transceiver, shovel and probe when caught in an avalanche.

On the first day we will start at Le Tour, where we will find some great off-piste routes, such as La combe des Jeurs. Then, the next day we will continue to the Brevent ski area. The amazing slopes in this area face the impressive Mont-Blanc!

We will start our third day at the famous Grands Montets ski resort, an inmense area of off-piste skiing, situated in the shadow of the beautiful L'Aiguille Verte. Besides, in this area we will find many glacier descents, perfect to develop our techniques and awareness in crevasse terrains.

This incredible off-piste skiing course in Chamonix, with an amazing 24 km descent of the Valée Blanche. We will start on the Aiguille du Midi (3842 m) and finish 2800 metres lower in Chamonix.

You can check the day-by-day itinerary below this text. Also, please note I take a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 clients, to ensure everybody's safety. Also, to allow you to get the most out of this course.

If you are interested by this program or would like something tailor made, please get in touch with me! I will be more than happy to support you in the organisation of your off piste tour in Chamonix. Please note that you can join an existing group or set up your own.

I also offer a 1-day off-piste skiing trip in Vallée Blanche. And if you're looking to learn the basics of ski touring, check my 2-day trip in Chamonix.
