Paragliding from Blauherd (2400m) back to Zermatt

The Blauherd station, in the canton of Valais, is one of the places in Zermatt with the best view of the alpine peaks, including the Matterhon. It is located at 2,400 meters. It is a favorite place for locals for its wonderful hiking options, skiing routes, relaxing opportunities and alternatives for the whole family, such as a children’s playground and barbecue areas. There are also several lakes in the area if you want to take advantage of the trip.

Our take-off point is located 10 walking minutes away from the Blauherd train station. We’ll fly for 20 minutes above some thermals and land in Zermatt. If the weather allows, we can circle around for better views before landing.

This trip is definitely not recommended for those afraid of heights!
